Untapped Conversations

Join us monthly as head to local watering holes for conversations, while learning about faith and theology with a bit of history thrown into the mix for our Untapped Conversations.

This year we are going through some of the major Theological Thinkers throughout church history, especially Presbyterian but a few others as well for balance. We started with Athanasius of Alexandria in September and have been moving up through history towards more of the modern area.

Each month is a stand alone lesson and conversation so come if and when you can. There are no required readings or items to bring except a curious mind. This is open to the public and all are invited to join us.

If you would like more information or have any questions, please contact Pastor Mark (revmarkallio@gmail.com or call the church at 724-352-2400.)

Film Festival of Faith

Movies are a great medium to explore the questions of life and faith. Most of the time we think of them solely as entertainment and distraction and some movies are just that but then there are others that seem to plunge the depths of art, philosophy, theology, and the human heart.

This year, we will be exploring various movies from comedy to drama, animation to documentary as we wrestle with our own faith and spiritual journey.

Join us as we gather monthly to watch and discuss various films as we try to open ourselves to ways that God may be speaking through these actors, writers, and directors.

If you would like more information or have any questions, please contact Pastor Mark (revmarkallio@gmail.com or call the church at 724-352-2400.)
